What is Friends of Blue Springs Ballet?
We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the dancers at Blue Springs Ballet. Our mission is to provide support and professional growth for the company dancers while promoting community awareness. This is accomplished through fundraising and volunteerism.
The fundraising is done to:
- enhance the performance of the company through sets, costumes and publicity
- promote public awareness of the members of the company and the performances
- expose the Blue Springs Ballet Company to universities, dance companies, and professional theatre
- increase the opportunities of company members to achieve their career goals through dance
Friends also works to help organize and provide volunteers as needed by the artistic director of the Blue Springs Ballet Company
