The Friends of Blue Springs Ballet is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the dancers at Blue Springs Ballet.  Our mission is to provide support and professional growth for the company dancers while promoting community awareness.  This is accomplished through fundraising and volunteerism.

Fundraising is done to:

  • Enhance the performance of the company through sets, costumes and publicity.
  • Promote public awareness of the members of the company and the performances.
  • Expose the Blue Springs Ballet Company to universities, dance companies, and professional theatre.
  • Increase the opportunities of company members to achieve their career goals through dance.

Other support:

  • Organize and provide volunteers for the Nutcracker and Spring Performances.
  • Provide community awareness of the arts by organizing public appearances of our company dancers such as the Fall Fun Fest Parade, Barnes & Noble holiday appearance, and corporate holiday parties.
